Welcome!
Canadians love sport. At an early age, we hit the ice, the slopes or the track. And more often than not it’s our families who support us when we compete.
We want to celebrate the support of families in Canadian sport. Every dad who gets up at 5 a.m. for the hockey carpool. Every mom who works a second job so their child can afford the professional ski coaching. Every brother or sister who carries that extra bag for their sibling at the big meet.
Petro-Canada is a national partner of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and we're proud to support coaches, athletes and their families with our programs. This site is dedicated to the families who make it all happen for their athletes - no matter what level they are at. It's the pride that every parent feels when their kid makes it across the ice without falling down or that every child sees in the face of the parent who sits in the stands for game after game.
We'd like this site to be a place to share the stories of Canadian families and their athletes.
